MeetStream Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of the Terms of Use

These terms of use are entered into by and between You and MeetStream Corp. (“Company,” “we,” or “us”). The following terms and conditions govern your access to and use of MeetStream, including any content, functionality and services offered on or through meetstream.ai.

Please read the Terms of Use carefully before you start to use MeetStream. By using MeetStream, you accept and agree to be bound and abide by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy, incorporated herein by reference. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not access or use MeetStream.

2. Eligibility

No one under 13 is allowed to create an account or use MeetStream. If you are under 18, you may only use MeetStream with the prior consent and involvement of a parent or legal guardian. By using MeetStream you represent that you meet these requirements and that you have authority to bind any organisation on whose behalf you act.

3. The service

MeetStream provides meeting bot infrastructure: an API that allows you to send a bot into a meeting on supported platforms and receive recordings, per-participant media, transcripts and related meeting data. You are responsible for your integration, your end users, and the application you build on top of the API.

We may change, suspend or discontinue features. Where a change materially reduces functionality you rely on, we will use reasonable efforts to give notice.

4. Acceptable use and your responsibilities

• You will use MeetStream only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms.
• You will keep your API keys confidential and are responsible for activity under your account.
• You will not attempt to circumvent rate limits, probe or disrupt the service, or use it to build a competing meeting-capture infrastructure product by scraping our systems.
• You will not use MeetStream to record or process meetings in a way that violates applicable law or the terms of the underlying meeting platform.

Recording consent and notice

Recording and transcription laws vary by jurisdiction, and many require the consent of some or all participants. You are responsible for obtaining any consent and giving any notice required for the meetings you capture through MeetStream, and for honouring participant objections. MeetStream provides technical controls, including a visibly named bot in the participant list, but does not determine whether your use is lawful in a given jurisdiction.

5. Google and other third-party platforms

MeetStream interoperates with third-party meeting and productivity platforms, including Google (Google Meet, Google Sign-In and Google Calendar), Zoom and Microsoft Teams. Your use of those platforms remains governed by your own agreements with them, and you must comply with their terms in addition to these.

5.1 Google user data

Where you sign in with Google or connect Google Calendar, MeetStream accesses Google user data only with your consent and only for the features you enable. MeetStream’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Full detail of what we access, how we use, store and share it, and how to revoke access, is in section 4 of our Privacy Policy.

5.2 Authorisation you grant and can withdraw

By connecting a Google account you authorise MeetStream to access the specific Google data described at the consent screen for the purpose of operating the features you enabled. You may withdraw that authorisation at any time through Google Account permissions or by disconnecting the integration inside MeetStream. Withdrawing authorisation stops future access and may disable the dependent features.

5.3 Bring-your-own credentials

Some integrations, including Google Calendar, operate on a bring-your-own-key basis in which you supply your own OAuth client credentials. Where you do so, you are responsible for the configuration and compliance of that client with the relevant platform’s policies, and MeetStream stores the resulting credentials encrypted as described in the Privacy Policy.

5.4 Platform changes

Third-party platforms may change or withdraw their APIs, which can affect MeetStream features that depend on them. We are not responsible for changes made by those platforms, but we will communicate material impacts where we can.

6. Your data

You retain rights in the meeting content you capture through MeetStream. We process it to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions necessary for us to process it on your behalf.

7. Suspension and termination

You may stop using MeetStream at any time and request account deletion. We may suspend or terminate access where these terms are breached, where use threatens the security or integrity of the service, or where required by law. On termination, we handle your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Changes to these terms

We may revise these Terms of Use. The date at the top of this page shows the last revision. Continuing to use MeetStream after a revision means you accept the updated terms.
